If you want to view what system users have rights to, you can use the control panel to view the rights setup for the groups that users are members of.
1. Go to the control panel and click User groups in the middle column.
2. Click the user group for which you want to view the rights.
Key: Indicates that this is a rights group.
Asterisk: Indicates that this is a default group. All new users are added by default here.
Email: Indicates that this is a notification group.
Bell: Indicates that this is an alarm group.
These are system groups.
Administrators, Department users, Department managers, Extenders and Users are also basic system groups.
Info: Administrators, Department users, Department managers, Observers, Extended users and Users are basic system groups. You can only be a member of one of these at a time.
3. Click the Rights tab.
4. This provides a list of all the modules in the system. Click the module for which you want to view the rights.
5. The rights setup of the module you selected is then displayed.
Info: You can set up your own rights structure with separate groups if you want a rights setup that is different to what the system groups allow.
